Find untranslated products and outdated translations on your Shopify store
Enter your store's domain. We read your public catalogue in each published language, compare it against your source text, and show you — with links to your own pages — where the translation stopped matching.
Read-only, from the outside. One polite request per second — the same footprint as a single shopper.
What we look for
- Untranslated products — shoppers see your source language on a translated page
- Blank translations — the localised description is empty
- Outdated translations — you edited the source and the translation never caught up
- Vanished structure — lists, headings, links or images missing from the translation
- Lost measurements — numbers with units that disappeared in translation
Why you can trust what it says
- We compare, we don't guess. Thresholds were tuned on 27,140 product comparisons across 48 real multilingual stores, specifically to stop false alarms.
- We verify before we claim. A sample of findings is checked on your live pages first; when the pages disagree with the data feed, we say so instead of listing them.
- A mismatch is evidence, not a verdict. Every finding links to the product on your own storefront so you can judge it yourself.
Common questions
Why do my products still show in English on my French store?
Usually because they were never translated, or an auto-translation quietly
skipped them. Shopify serves your source language wherever a translation is
missing — which is exactly what this check finds, product by product.
My translations broke and nobody told me. Can I at least see the
damage?
This check shows which products serve source-language text in each published
language today. For hearing about it first — a weekly watch with an email
when something breaks — that's the app we're bringing to the Shopify App
Store.
Does this change anything on my store?
No. It is read-only and outside-in: no install, no login, no theme access.
We read the same public pages a shopper does.
